Virtual town hall meeting on violence in Moss Point

Moss Point Mayor Mario King will host a virtual town hall at 6 p.m. today to address the issue regarding a recent spike of violent crimes in the city.

Moss Point went into a local civil emergency Monday at 5 p.m. A curfew for minors begins at 8 p.m. and lasts until 6 a.m.

Mayor King wants to speak to the youth as he says he’s been in their shoes before, but was guided to travel down the right path.
