Virtual reality experience opens up at Outlet Mall

Residents of Gulfport now have a brand-new opportunity to dive into the world of virtual reality.

Team VR-Cade opened a brand-new store at the Gulfport Premium Outlets. The owners originally ran a clothing boutique. However, they changed their business model to bring more family-oriented fun to the area.

The arcade is home to virtual reality headsets, X-Box One consoles, desktop gaming, and more. This video game palace also gives customers the choice of over 150 different games to play.

Owner Derek Murphy said, “It’s super exciting. I love to see when people get in VR for the first time and they just have a great time, experience new things. They’re always surprised by how real it looks and how immersive it really is.”

The arcade will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 to 9 and Sunday from 2 to 6.
