The Village Justice Symposium

As Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day draws near, the MLK Coastwide committee is busy preparing festivities in his honor.

The four day celebration features a gospel tribute for the Civil Rights icon as well as words of inspiration with James Meredith, a trailblazer in the Civil Rights movement.

The Village Social Justice Symposium is free and open to the public. Event chairman Allytra Perryman said, “That event covers a youth summit, a men’s summit, and a women’s summit as well as informational seminars for everyone and a health fair. We hope to engage the entire family.”
