Vietnam Commemoration Ceremony Saturday
This Saturday, Crusaders for Veterans will do something that is long overdue. The non-profit will be putting on a Vietnam commemoration ceremony at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
The ceremony is set to start at nine on Saturday. It will let Vietnam veterans know they are remembered and their sacrifices are not unnoticed.
The theme of the ceremony will be “Saluting our Spouses” where veterans will recognize spouses who were the forgotten heroes at home.
President of Crusaders Kevin Cuttill tells News 25 the ceremony will show support to the veterans who returned home only to be disrespected. “You come back and you get disrespected, not even appreciated, not even a thank you. You bring back a disease that they dumped on you and it gets denied for years. It’s very, very emotional for several of those veterans coming out.”
If you’d like to attend Saturday’s ceremony, please email Kevin at CFV@crusadersforveterans.com.
