Victor Ainsworth Running for Mayor
Ten candidates are officially running for Biloxi mayor and one of them is Victor Ainsworth.
Ainsworth is a Biloxi native and was raised on the coast. Right now he is working for Swetman Security and says if elected mayor, he can offer up something new to the people of Biloxi.
He’s deciding to forgo the expensive fundraisers and get to know Biloxians by going door to door and introducing himself.
He tells News 25 his main focus is working for the people.
“I need the people to know I’m here for them, just like I have been in the past, I’m here. The door is going to be open. My campaign cards are even going to have my cell number on them. They can call me. My number’s open."
Victor Ainsworth ran against his son, Tyler Ainsworth, for Ward 7 Councilman in 2013.
