Victims’ Home Burns Down

The tragedy continues families of five victims brutally murdered in a Citronelle, Alabama home. Over the weekend, the house in which a south Mississippi man is accused of killing the victims burned down. two weeks after five adults and an unborn child were gruesome murdered in this home on Jim Platt road, the victim’s family member say the house is gone. The Citronelle fire department says it got a call around 8:00 am Sunday about a house fire. When firefighters arrived, only cinder blocks were left. We’re told firefighters had to cut through these gate locks to get there. One of the victim’s cousins says the family never had a chance to get any pictures or belongings from the house before it was burned. In an interview last week, Shannon and Robert’s cousin, Rhonda Jordan Henson, told us pictures were going to help their young kids remember their parents. Rhonda Jordan-Henson Shannon tells us, “All they got is little memories they have, and we as a family has got to keep their memories alive. We’re goanna have to tell them how their momma was, how their daddy was. It’s kinda hard to explain stuff like that to babies.” The victims: Shannon Randall, her common-law husband Adam Turner and her brother Robert Brown. Justin Reed and his wife Chelsey Reed, who was 5-months pregnant, were also killed. The man investigators say is responsible, Derrick Dearman, admitted he was on drugs at the time of the murders. Derrick Dearman, suspect “I was high, I barely remember anything, and just please I’m sorry and I deserve to die.” family members say his apology doesn’t make the pain any less, and neither does knowing the house is no longer there.
