Victim of Lamey Bridge accident in serious, stable condition.

A Louisiana man is in serious, yet stable condition after over turning his dump truck in Harrison County around 2 this afternoon. 43-year old Derrick Ellis was pinned inside of a WC Fore company truck for over an hour. After multiple crews finally removed Ellis from the truck, he was airlifted to USA Medical Center in Mobile by an Ocshner helicopter out of New Orleans.

Benjamin Siebert with Mississippi Highway Patrol tells News 25 Ellis is in stable, yet serious condition.

He says Ellis’s truck flipped when he was attempting to turn off of Highway 67 onto Shriner’s Boulevard.
