Victim in Pearl River fatal car accident identified

The victim in a fatal crash in Pearl River County has been identified.

Sixty-six year old Nathan Boone of Picayune was killed in the wreck Wednesday afternoon.

Officials say Boone’s vehicle collided with a semi-truck after crossing the center median on Interstate 59. Boone received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
