Victim identified in single-vehicle crash in Gulfport
Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer has identified the man who was killed in a single car accident on Highway 90 in Gulfport.
The victim was 71-year-old Kenneth Daniel of Gulfport. Daniel died at the scene from blunt force trauma.
Switzer said Daniel was not wearing his seatbelt when he lost control of his vehicle in a curve on Highway 90 near Centennial Plaza yesterday afternoon and struck the retaining wall, then an embankment before rolling several times.
Gulfport police are investigating the accident.
