Victim identified in pedestrian involved accident in Gautier

GAUTIER, MS – On Saturday, January 28, 2024, at approximately 2:03 a.m. the Gautier Police Department responded to an accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

29-year-old Tyler Feranda of Ocean Springs was struck by a vehicle in the east bound lane on Highway 90, in front of the Grease Monkey oil change at 3263 Highway 90. Feranda sustained fatal injuries as a result of the impact and Acadian paramedics pronounced Feranda deceased.

There are no charges at this time and the incident is still under investigation.
