Victim identified in fatal shooting in Pascagoula on Saturday

We have an update on a deadly shooting in Pascagoula.

The victim has been identified as 27-year-old Jessie Johnson of Moss Point. According to the coroner, he died from a gunshot wound to the upper torso.

An autopsy is planned for tomorrow.

Johnson was shot just before 8:30 Saturday night in the 2600 block of Martin Street.

Pascagoula police found him dead as they were responding to a call about shots fired.
