Victim identified in fatal shooting at Ingalls

PASCAGOULA, Miss. (WXXV)-The victim in the deadly shooting at Ingalls Shipbuilding on Friday has been identified.

Jackson County Deputy Coroner identified the victim as 27-year-old Tahj Johnson of Pritchard, Alabama.

The suspect, identified as Curtis James Jr. of Mobile, is in custody. He is charged with first degree murder.

Pascagoula police officials tell us the shooting happened around 7:30 this morning. Multiple agencies responded to the shipyard as a result.
