Victim identified in Dedeaux Road crash
GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The pedestrian killed in a Saturday night crash on Dedeaux Road has been identified.
Forty-six-year-old Wynford Willford was hit by a car traveling west just after 7:30 that night and died of blunt force trauma.
Gulfport police say the driver stayed on scene and that no charges have been filed at this time.
The exact cause of what led to the crash is still under investigation.
