Vicari Auto Auction back with more cars on the block
The Vicari Auto Auction was back for day two and new cars are up on the auction block.
Some of these cars are bought in top shape. However, some are purchased as projects to be fixed up in ways the new owners like.
One of these projects is a 1952 Chevrolet 3100 truck purchased for $15,000 by Kilgore, Texas resident Cody Main. Main plans to completely restore the old truck and turn it into something he loves.
He will then decide if he wants to resell the truck or keep it for himself. “I’ll repaint the inside of the cab, put new seats in it, redo the motor, put an LS swap in it, set on an s10 frame, lower it down, and put some wheels and tires on it. I mean sometimes you get good deals at auctions, you know, they’re just good to buy at auctions. I like them on the internet too. I’ll buy them anywhere.”
Main says he has bought about 100 different cars this year alone which he fixes up and either resells or keeps in his collection.
