Veterans Town Hall Meeting Biloxi

“We serve veterans and that is why we are here.” That was the message director of the Veteran Benefits Association out of Jackson, Darryl Brady, wanted to drive home as he spoke at the Veterans town hall meeting at the Biloxi VA Wednesday morning.
Brady sat on a panel with the Director of Gulf Coast Veteran Healthcare along with a representative from the Biloxi National Cemetery.
As dozens of veterans listened, many stepped forward to speak on their positive and negative experiences with the Biloxi VA.”We want to know how our veterans are feeling. Whatever they have, the questions and concerns, we want to hear about them. We want to make sure that we improve the veteran’s experience. That is critical to us,” said Brady.
The goal of the veteran’s benefits program across the state is to complete over a million claims in a year. They say they have averaged slightly over a million the past three years.
