Vestige restaurant named James Beard Award finalist
In Ocean Springs, one local restaurant earned a huge honor!
Vestige on Washington Avenue was nominated as an outstanding restaurant for the James Beard Award.
The requirements include a restaurant that demonstrates consistent excellence in food, atmosphere, hospitality, and operations while contributing to the community.
Before landing in the top five finalists, Vestige had to beat out 19 other restaurants.
Perry has also been nominated as a top chef in the south in 2019, 2022, and 2023. His wife, Kumo Omori, was nominated with him in 2022 and 2023.
