Vancleave’s Jordyn Raynor makes history making the first Bulldog field goal as a female

WXXV’s Ansley Brent first introduced you to this incredible athlete last year when featuring her as a WXXV Student Athlete of the Week, and she truly could not pass up another opportunity to brag on her! Jordyn Raynor is a junior at Vancleave high school who plays soccer, is a member of the track team, and is the first female to suit up for the football program.

This past Friday night, Jordyn made school history by being the first female to ever kick a field goal in the Bulldog uniform. It wasn’t just a gimme either, but a 30 yarder.

Vancleave went on to win by just three points so it is safe to say without Jordyn the Bulldogs might not have gotten their first win of the year.

Congratulations Jordyn, we are so very proud of you!
