Vancleave offensive lineman Dalton Toothman signs with Mississippi State

VANCLEAVE, Miss. (WXXV) — One Vancleave standout signed to continue his football career at Mississippi State University on Wednesday.

Three-star offensive lineman Dalton Toothman has been a Bulldog his entire life, and now, he’ll stay a Bulldog! Although he’s played mostly offensive tackle at Vancleave this season, the versatile lineman can do just about anything.

As an early graduate, Toothman will head to Starkville in January. He spoke to WXXV about what he hopes to accomplish right out of the gate.

“I just want to get up there and work,” Toothman said. “Nothing’s given to you at that level, so I just want to go up there and prove what I can do and just try to be the best player I can the day I get there.”
