Prior to deputies’ arrival, Nguyen drifted into an opposite lane of traffic and struck a motorcycle driven by 46-year-old Gary Mitchell.
Mitchell was thrown from his motorcycle and died because of the collision.
During the investigation, it was determined that Nguyen had a blood alcohol content of 0.166.
