Vancleave man guilty of auto burglary

After a 40 minute deliberation, a jury found a Vancleave habitual offender guilty of auto burglary.
Thirty-year-old John Dennis was found guilty by a Harrison County jury late yesterday afternoon.
D’Iberville police officers and the victim testified that  surveillance video from a home security system showed a male suspect with distinctive star tattoos on his shoulders make entry into a truck in July 2014. Dennis was seen removing several items, including the victim’s laptop from the vehicle.
Dennis will be sentenced April 25th in Biloxi. Dennis has a history of over 20 convictions for auto burglary and other theft related crimes.
