USS Fitzgerald to arrive in Pascagoula tomorrow

The guided missile destroyed USS Fitzgerald will arrive in Pascagoula tomorrow for repairs at Ingalls Shipbuilding.
The ship is scheduled to be at the Point located at the west end of Beach Boulevard in Pascagoula at 10 a.m. Coast residents are invited to be at the Point to wave flags as the ship comes into Pascagoula. Employees from Ingalls Shipbuilding will be onsite handing out flags.
The USS Fitzgerald was damaged in a June 17th collision with a container ship off Japan which killed seven sailors.
