USM volleyball to ‘block out cancer’

In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Southern Miss volleyball team is putting matters into their own hands to raise funds for the cause.

The Lady Eagles on the front line have a little extra motivation to get above the net tomorrow night.

The Southern Miss volleyball team is hosting an event called ‘Block out Cancer.’

For every block made during their match against Texas State, Raanes and Oliver Capital Advisors will donate $100 to go towards Forrest General Hospital’s Cancer Center.

The match takes place tomorrow night at 6 p.m.
