USM opens its Gulf Park Campus for Cruisin’ the Coast

On Monday, the University of Southern Mississippi opened its Gulf Park Campus for Cruisin’ the Coast.

Both spectators and cruisers alike gathered on USM’s Gulf Park Campus to catch a glimpse of the vintage cars rolling down Highway 90.

This marks the third year that the Gulf Park Campus has been open to the public for Cruisin’ the Coast. For USM Assistant Professor of Management, Dr. Bradley Winton, opening the campus for Cruisin’ the Coast is an invaluable way of showing what the Gulf Park Campus has to offer to travelers as well as locals.

“The great thing about this event particularly is that most people associate Southern Miss with Hattiesburg. They don’t realize we have this beautiful campus right here in Long Beach Mississippi, right here on the coast, right on the water and so to introduce all the people, even locals, to this campus has been a really cool thing over the years.”
