USM Gulf Park Campus celebrates new school year
With the new school year kicking off the University of Southern Mississippi wanted to welcome their students on the Coast into the new year.
Hardy Hall was host to many Southern Miss students and faculty as they celebrate a new school year on the coast. It’s all part of Jeff Hinton’s goal to make the Gulf Park campus feel more like the one in Hattiesburg.
One of those students being welcomed on campus is Yzabela Peoples, who came to the Mississippi specifically for the Gulf Park campus.
A campus that usually features upperclassmen and commuters is becoming increasingly popular for all kinds of southern miss students
As the variety of students grows at Gulf Park what the campus offers is growing as well. Southern Miss president Joe Paul talked about some of those upcoming developments.
