GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- For the April General Membership meeting at the Knight Nonprofit Center, the University of Southern Mississippi and the Gulf Coast Business Council announced a new partnership launching an executive leadership academy.
This collaborative effort marks a significant milestone in strengthening professional development and leadership capacity for the region’s current and emerging business leaders.
The academy will be housed at the Southern Miss Gulf Park Campus in Long Beach and will feature a comprehensive curriculum delivered over a nine-month period. It’s great to be on the Gulf Coast, the University of Southern Mississippi is a real engine for economic development on the blue economy and so to be here with business leaders is a treat for me. This really does launch our executive education program and we want folks along the coast to know that if they are interested in their companies and receiving some upskill training, whether it’s around technology, best business practice leaderships, be in touch with us at the executive education center at our Gulf Park campus.”
