US Marshals arrest Gulfport Man wanted for Homicide and Felony Eluding

Gulfport, MS –The US Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Gulfport Division arrested Errington Fitzgerald Stenson in the area of Gatsby Dr and Acadian Ave in Gulfport around 12:30.
Stenson is currently wanted by the Botetourt County Sheriff’s Office for Homicide and Eluding Law Enforcement.
These charges stemmed from an incident on February 8th, 2022 on I-81 in Botetourt County, VA where Stenson is accused of fleeing law enforcement and crashing his vehicle. One of the occupants in Stenson’s vehicle died on the scene when he crashed into a tractor-trailer that was parked on an entrance ramp.
The US Marshals discovered that Stenson was currently at a home in the Gulfport area and attempted to get the occupants to exit the home. After occupants refused to open the door, the home was searched, and Stenson was found in the garage area.
He was taken into custody without any other incidents and transported to the Harrison County Jail.
