Upgrades to Harrison County Sheriff’s helicopter
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office is touting new upgrades to its helicopter.
It is now outfitted with multi-sensor surveillance cameras and mapping systems from Trakka Systems. The upgrades allow pilots to get a better bird’s eye view of subjects or objects.
Chief Pilot Brandon Hendry shares more on the new upgrades. “Now, we have high-definition infrared sensors, laser range binders, high-definition color video cameras, and integrated mapping system that allows us to really see a lot more detail. We can fly higher, fly safer, a more proficient profile in the helicopter that allows us to be more successful.”
