Update on Long Beach Gateway Project

LONG BEACH, Miss. (WXXV)- The City of Long Beach is sharing progress on their gateway project.

Officials say the concrete and rebar platform for the tower, the central focal point of the project, has been installed.

The steel structure itself is expected to be installed later this week.

City officials say this milestone represents the next phase in creating a signature entrance for the community.
