Update on dolphin rescued near Dauphin Island

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- The Institute for Marine Mammal Studies sharing an update on a dolphin rescued near Dauphin Island.

At this time, the dolphin is underweight and is battling severe pneumonia.

Staff saying his spirit is strong, but he still has a long way to go before he is healthy again.

IMMS saying they are focusing on keeping him hydrated, medicated, and well fed.
