UPDATE: No threat from ‘potentially concerning’ social media thread related to George County Middle School

The George County School District has been made aware of a potentially concerning social media thread related to George County Middle School.

The George County School District investigated the social media thread with the assistance of surrounding law enforcement agencies and it was deemed to not have originated in the school district.

At no time were students or staff in any danger.
