University of Southern Mississippi partners with Itawamba Community College
The University of Southern Mississippi’s School of Construction and Design has partnered with Itawamba Community College for a 2+2 Program, enabling students to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management.
The partnership allows ICC students who completed their Associate of Applied Science degree the opportunity to enter the third-year with the rest of the USM-BCM track students.
The four semesters at Southern Miss can be completed completely online or on the Hattiesburg campus, allowing ICC graduates to seek fulltime employment while earning their degree.
Director of the School of Construction and Design at Southern Miss, Dr. Emre Bayraktar, said the school looks forward to providing a supportive and enriching journey for all ICC students involved.
Dr. Bayraktar said the ICC graduates will be able to integrate into the advanced coursework at Southern Miss, building upon the foundation laid during the initial two years at ICC.
