Richard Lucas, President of United Way for Jackson and George Counties, says, “You know, we had a good theme this year, building a united community. I think that’s what it’s all about, and I think by us having this celebration today to show where the campaign came to, we can assure people in the Jackson and George County area that the help they need is on the way.”

United Way will continue to accept donations through December 31st for the 2014 campaign.
