Unemployment Eliminators Job Fair
Job seekers and the employers looking to hire them took over the Coast Coliseum this morning.
Unemployment Eliminators held their third and final job fair of the year in Biloxi Wednesday.
Coast residents looking for jobs had the chance to visit with employers ranging from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office to waste management companies.
Job fair organizers tell News 25 at the last fair they saw over 900 job seekers come out.
Today, within an hour of opening their doors, they saw over 400 Coast residents already on site searching for the right job.
Job seeker Whitney Marie said, “Everyone is really helpful here. They’re all handing out packets and asking you questions to get you started and being very informative for you and trying to find you the right job.”
Job seeker Mike Jones said, “I’ve seen a lot of opportunity here. They have a lot of jobs and I’m glad that I came. Hopefully, I get a job.”
If you missed today, Unemployment Eliminators will be back in Biloxi for the first fair of 2017 on January 31st.
