Undercover drug bust leads to arrest of two in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- Two people were arrested on felony drug trafficking charges in Harrison County.

The arrests stem from an undercover operation by the Harrison County Narcotics Task Force.

As a result of the operation, Yarnesia Ro’Shay McClary and Elton Bernard McKinzy of Tallahassee, Florida were arrested on a felony charge of trafficking a controlled substance, marijuana.

Investigators identified two vehicles suspected of trafficking bulk marijuana. The investigators located the cars at a gas station and contacted the drivers, identified as McClary and McKinzy Jr.

A probable cause search of the vehicles yielded approximately 25 pounds of bulk marijuana concealed in the cargo area of an SUV and approximately $30,000 in currency.

Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Harrison County Jail and held in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
