UMMC operations return to normal after cyber-attack

JACKSON, Miss. (WXXV)- Operations at the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s clinics and campuses continue to return to normal after last month’s cyber-attack.

Monday, UMMC phone lines were back up and working. Staff are beginning the process of calling patients to reschedule missed appointments.

While systems are still coming back online, the health system continues to work with law enforcement to determine who was behind the massive cyber-attack.
