U.S. Air Force Honor Guard Drill Team

The United States Air Force Honor Guard drill team debuts their 2017 routine at Keesler Air Force Base.

The highly skilled team performed in front of hundreds of airmen in the 81st training wing this morning in Biloxi.
Prior to their performance…airmen at Keesler showed off their skills for the first quarterly drill down of the year.
They were judged on their precision and formation marching.
Many hope to one day become part of the highly respected honor guard drill team.

The rifles each honor guard drill team members uses in their 12 minute routine weighs about 12 pounds.
The energy used in one 12 minute drill is equivalent to running a 5-k.
