Two volunteer firefighters arrested in George County for DUI and obstruction during emergency response

GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The George County Sheriff’s Office arrested two volunteer firefights on Thursday after reports of the volunteers attempting to interfere with an active life-flight medical operation.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies made contact with the individuals, identified as 60-year-old Mark Wilson and 67-year-old Kathleen Wilson. During the investigation, they were both found to be under the influence of alcohol.
Both were arrested and charged with obstruction of emergency assistance. Kathleen Wilson was charged with drunkenness in a public place and Mark Wilson was charged with driving under the influence.
