Two Red Rebelettes sign to continue their softball careers at the next level!

Harrison Central is proud to have two of their softball players further their careers on the diamond! Gabby Smith celebrated her signing day today and Brooke Shannon signed earlier this week on tuesday.

Smith made this official with Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College and Shannon signed with William Carey University.

The two pitchers told WXXV what this incredible moment means to them.

“Honestly all glory to God. I wouldn’t be able to be where I am right now without Him and I’m just so grateful for everything,” said Gabby Smith. “It’s just a blessing to have the ability to play this sport.”

“It’s truly a blessing,” said Brooke Shannon. “All the hard work paying off and I’m just so thankful for everyone that has been there for me, to help me, and just continue to help me go along the journey. I’m just blessed.’
