Two Picayune K9 officers visit elementary school
PICAYUNE, Miss. (WXXV)- Two K9 officers visited an elementary school in Picayune last week.
K9 Officer Jennifer Callais, K9 Cosmo, K9 Nova, and Corporal Mike Alquist went to talk to kindergartners.
The dogs were a hit. The students were very excited to meet them.
Officers were on site to give a demonstration that included a mix of education and action skills.
The K9 officers say they enjoy visiting schools and giving demonstrations when able, showing off their training and build positive relationships with the students.
