Two Men and a Truck prepare for annual Movers for Moms drive

Two Men and a Truck is gearing up for Movers for Moms, the business’ annual donation drive for mothers in need around the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

For six years, Gulfport’s Two Men and a Truck has been celebrating Mother’s Day by collecting and delivering items to local organizations that help moms.

In fact, they are the third location in the entire company to collect the most.

Nearly 30,000 items were able to be delivered to the Gulf Coast Center for Nonviolence last year.

This year, the business is extending its outreach to the Women’s Resource Center as well.

For them, It’s truly a way to give back to hardworking mothers and a community that supports them.

“So, the items that we collect are for moms in need, but they essentially are for the children that these moms have. So, diapers, bottles, things that, you know, just make a mom feel better about themselves when they’re able to have that for their children,” said Emily Sham, marketing director for Two Men and a Truck. “So, just making those moms feel better is what it’s all about around Mother’s Day because a lot of time they don’t have a lot living in shelters and things like that. That’s our main goal is just to help moms in need around Mother’s Day and give back.”

If you would like to be a drop-off location and help collect items for these moms, all you have to do is call 228-284-1726.
