Two members of Jackson County Fire Protection team complete training

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)- The Jackson County Fire Protection Team shared two of their members completed training at the state fire academy last week.

Lt. Will Yates and Captain T.J. Pratt took part in vehicle extrication and rescue training.

This course helps expand the basic techniques into more advanced methods for this skill set.

Firefighters took the time to stabilize vehicles, remove glass, doors and roofs, as well as mastering the tools needed for technical rescue.
