Two killed, several injured in crash involving military bus in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WXXV)-The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a two-vehicle crashing involving a military vehicle that left two people dead and several injured.

According to our media partner, the Sun Herald, the crash happened shortly after 4 p.m. on Canal Road near Interstate 10.

At least one of the vehicles involved was one of several military buses returning from a training exercise.

Some of the occupants were transported to an area hospital for treatment.

A portion of Canal Road was temporarily shut down while authorities investigated the crash.
