Two killed in collision with Amtrak train in Pass Christian

PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. (WXXV)- The two people killed in the fatal Amtrak crash in Pass Christian have been identified.

The accident happened on Tuesday evening at the Davis Avenue crossing.

Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer identified the driver as Douglas Craddock of Long Beach. Craddock was taken to Ochsner Hancock where he was pronounced dead around 8 p.m.

The passenger, Tavianna Ellegant of Long Beach, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Details are limited, but the City of Pass Christian says more information will be provided when the investigation is complete.
