Two teenagers arrested after allegedly shooting at a car with stolen firearms in Jackson County
On September 24th, the Gautier Police Department responded to a report of shots fired at another vehicle traveling on Ferry Point Road.
The caller reported that that the vehicle they were traveling behind had shot at their vehicle. Both vehicles stopped at the end of Ferry Point Road when police arrived on scene.
Two male juveniles were taken into custody out of the suspect vehicle without incident. One teenager, from Vancleave, was charged as an adult with aggravated assault and sent to the Jackson County Adult Detention Center. The other teenager, also from Vancleave, was taken to the detention center for accessory to aggravated assault.
No injuries were reported. The victim’s vehicle was struck by gunfire. The suspect vehicle and the firearms were both reported stolen in Vancleave.
