One vehicle caught fire briefly. Chief Sullivan said, “Any time you have personal injury in an accident, it’s a serious accident. Unfortunately, these weren’t minor injuries. These were serious injuries. We had paramedics from the fire department and AMR on scene pretty quickly. The fire station that’s only blocks away was able to get here within minutes and subsequently they were able to put the fire out in the one vehicle that the person was trapped in.”
