Two Gulfport men charged in theft from Pass Christian business

Two people are charged with stealing money from a Pass Christian business.

Pass Christian Police Chief Daren Freeman said Zenell Gwin, 27, and Raynaldo Smith, 36, both of Gulfport, were arrested Tuesday and charged with felony embezzlement.

Freeman said the theft was in excess of $100 thousand dollars. He said the investigation into the theft lasted about a month.

Both suspects were taken to the Harrison County jail. Bond was set at $75 thousand dollars each by Judge Albert Fountain.
