Two die in crash on Highway 11 in Pearl River County

Two people died Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle wreck on Highway 11 in Pearl River County.

MHP spokesman Cal Robertson said troopers responded about 12:30 p.m. to a crash involving two vehicles.

A 2014 Honda driven by 57-year-old Lisa Stockstill with a passenger, 63-year-old Kevin Stockstill, both of Picayune, were traveling north on Highway 11 when it collided with a 2007 Chevy truck driven by 30-year-old Maegan Ousley of Pearl River, La., who was driving southbound. Ousley had a 4-year-old in the vehicle with her.

Ousley and the child suffered serious injuries in the crash. The Stockstills received fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.

MHP is investigating the crash.
