Two Chicago Women Visit MS CrossFits to Raise Money for Charities

Two Chicago women are spreading the message of health, wellness, and fitness while hosting events at CrossFit boxes across the country, raising money for charity.

Katie Arnold and Samantha Laufer teamed up with a CrossFit organization, Sweat Angels, to raise money for a different charity each month. The project, called 50 States in a Year, started November 1st, 2014 and Mississippi is their 17th state to visit.

Arnold says, “For the month of February we are working with the Children’s Health Fund and we are able to help get glasses to kids in need. Last month was all about getting winter coats to those in need. We did toys for kids with cancer in December, and November was all about feeding hungry families.”
