Two bodies found at bus stop in Biloxi identified

Biloxi Police are investigating two deaths after bodies were found Friday morning.

Grandver Everett, the public information officer for the department, said the male and female were discovered this morning at a CTA bus stop on Rue Magnolia, the service drive just north of Highway 90.

He said an officer on patrol saw the female, who looked like she needed medical attention, and stopped to render aid. When he approached, he saw a male in the same area. Personnel from Biloxi Fire and emergency medical services were called to the scene and both people were pronounced dead at the scene.

Harrison County Deputy Coroner Mechelle Carbine said they were found about 6:18 a.m. and no foul play is suspected. Carbine identified the victims as 37-year-old Sterling Allen of Gulfport and 39-year-old Ashley Denham of Saucier.

Biloxi’s Criminal Investigations unit is investigating the deaths.
