Two arrested on trafficking fentanyl charges in Gulfport

GULFPORT, Miss. (WXXV)- Two people have been arrested in Gulfport on charges of trafficking fentanyl.
On September 22, the Gulfport Police Department arrested 29-year-old Kevon Barnes and 30-year-old Danielle Jordan on those charges.
After an intelligence led operation spanning several days, detectives recovered more than 40 grams of fentanyl, nine grams of marijuana, a firearm, several thousand dollars, digital scales, and plastic packaging materials.
Barnes and Jordan were transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center where they are both being held on a $250,000 bond.
